Tel Aviv Magistrates' Court on Friday ruled to extend by four days the remand of a couple suspected of causing internal injuries to their twin babies by shaking them.

One of the twins died of his wounds on Thursday. His sister is in stable condition.

The parents have furiously denied allegations of abuse, claiming that the twins injuries are the result of a gentic disease.
