Parks authority: 170,000 tourists visiting nat'l parks

Some 170,000 tourists visited nature reserves and national parks on Monday, taking advantage of the warm springtime weather and time off from school.
As of 12:30 p.m., 2,600 tourists visited the watering holes at Banias, 2,000 trekked along the Meshushim Stream and 2,000 toured the epic Massada mesa and seaside ruins at Caesarea, the National Nature and Parks Authority said.
