President Shimon Peres arrived in Washington on Friday night ahead of his address to the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) policy conference.

Peres will be staying at the Blair House during his visit in the US. He will be joined on Sunday by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who is currently in Ottawa for meetings with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and other high-ranking officials.
