Red Cross to supply Gaza with diesel to alleviate 'crisis'

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced Thursday that it is preparing to supply the Gaza Strip with 150,000 liters of diesel to alleviate what it termed a "fuel and electricity crisis" that began last month.
In a statement released on its website, the ICRC said that the failure to ensure delivery of fuel and electricity to Gaza puts "the lives of thousands of patients in danger."
The organization called on all authorities to "prevent a further deterioration of the situation and find a lasting solution to the problem."
