An attempted attack on the Israeli embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia was foiled Monday when an employee discovered an explosive device car across from the diplomatic mission, Israel Radio reported.
The embassy employee called police, who neutralized the explosive device. The embassy was notified of the incident and the Foreign Ministry ordered alert levels increased at diplomatic missions across the world, according to the report.
In an official statement to Israel Radio, the Foreign Ministry declined to comment on the matter, saying it does not discuss security issues.
