The government will increase the quota of Palestinian construction workers permitted to enter Israel from 19,000 to 30,000 in the coming weeks, Army Radio reported Wednesday.
The Population, Immigration and Border Authority of the Interior Ministry prefers to employ Palestinians as opposed to other foreigners as the former choose not to settle in Israel, according to Army Radio.
