Hamas told Egyptian authorities on Friday its final position regarding the deal for the release of kidnapped soldier Gilad Schalit. According to a report from the Hamas affiliated newspaper A-Risala, the deputy president of Hamas, Moussa Abu Mazrouk, arrived in Cairo yesterday and discussed the issue with another senior Hamas official whose identity was not mentioned.

Israel media was reporting that it was likely the said official was Ahmed Jabri, the head of Hamas' military wing and also one of the leading officials in the Schalit deal.
