A 20-year-old Sakhnin resident was moderately-to-seriously wounded when a passing motorist shot at him on Tuesday afternoon at the Yovelim junction.

Police suspected the shooter to be a motorcyclist who had bypassed the target and shot at him on the road.

The wounded youth drove to Sakhnin, then checked himself into Nahariya's Western Galilee Hospital.

Police were investigating the incident.
