Energy and Water Minister Silvan Shalom told Israel Radio on Sunday that an American attempt to impose the terms of peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians will result in a collapse of talks.
Speaking to Israel Radio from a renewable energy conference in the United Arab Emirates, Shalom said that while Jerusalem is keen on extending peace talks by a year, but it will not compromise its position on final-status issues.
