US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro warned that Israel is in danger of sliding toward a bi-national state outcome, during an address to the Jerusalem Post Diplomatic Conference in Jerusalem on Wednesday.

"This is an outcome that neither side wants," he stated, saying that the Israelis and the Palestinians must work proactively to prevent it. He echoed recent statements by the Obama Administration that it does not expect a two-state solution to be realized before the end of US President Barack Obama's term.

Shapiro also emphasized that there is no justification for terror, in any form, and called on the PA to stop the incitement that is so often behind it.
