Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom warned that if Hizbullah is to lead the country's new government then it could be dangerous for Israel and lead to instability in the world, Israel Radio reported Sunday.

He noted that it does not mean that there will be another terrorist organization supported by Iran, but instead there will be an Iranian government along the northern border.

Shalom went on to say that this move would turn Lebanon into a disease in the international arena.
