Spokesman: Part of New York's JFK airport evacuated

NEW YORK - A busy terminal in New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport was partly evacuated on Monday, after an unattended bag was found, according to a spokesman for American Airlines.
The area around the ticketing desks was cleared of travelers while authorities investigated the package, according to the spokesman, Ned Raynolds of American Airlines, which is owned by AMR Corp .
"We took the normal precautions and notified authorities," Raynolds said.
