At the opening ceremony for the first opposition-lead Syrian embassy in Qatar, opposition leader Moaz Alkhatib used the occasion to chastise world powers for not showing more support.

Responding to NATO's and the US's decision to not arm the opposition with a further shipment of patriot missles Alkhatib said, "I'm scared that this will be a message to the Syrian regime telling it 'Do what you want.'"Alkhatib also revealed possible fractions within the opposition party by calling for unity as the only path to achieve victory.
