A man in his 40s was arrested by police on Sunday on suspicion of carrying out a double homicide three years ago in the Arab town of Taibe.

Police say the murders took place following a road rage incident. Intelligence gathered by officers allowed homicide detectives from the central district's central unit to make the arrest, police said. Also on Sunday, police arrested two people in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old man in Ramle earlier this month.

The two suspects were hiding out in an apartment in Lod, police said.
