In Iran Wednesday hundreds of thousands of supporters of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's government took to the streets, charging that the opposition is being exploited by Teheran's enemies. The declarations of support for the government were initiated by religious leaders and senior security officials in response to opposition protests this week which have resulted in the deaths of eight people.
