A reported three additional mortar rounds have been fired towards IDF forces operating in the area of the border with the Gaza Strip. The IDF have reported that there have been no injuries as a result of the attack.

Forces responded towards the source of the attacks with tank fire.

Earlier on Thursday, at least three mortar shells were launched at IDF positions near the Gaza border Thursday, according to a statement released by the military. No injuries or damage were reported in the incident.

Arab media claimed that the Palestinian mortar attacks were fired towards the site of a terror tunnel that was discovered earlier Thursday inside Israeli territory.
