Turkel Commission delays publication of findings

The Turkel Commission which is investigating the operation to stop the Gaza-bound Turkish flotilla last May has postpone publication of its findings, sources close to the committee said on Sunday.

The committee had initially planned to release the first part of its findings this week but has decided to postpone the publication to an unknown date due to additional work. The top Israeli political and defense leadership appeared testified before the committee which is headed by retired Supreme Court justice Jacob Turkel.
