Turkel C'tee to summon Interior Ministry director to speak

Turkel Commission coordinator, attorney Hoshea Gottlieb, on Monday summoned Interior Ministry Director of Enforcement and Foreign Nationals Yossi Edelstein to give open-door testimony before the Commission next week.

Edelstein will testify regarding the treatment of flotilla participants from their arrival in Ashdod harbor until their deportation from Israel.

Attorney Gottlieb also summoned representatives of B'Tselem, Gisha and Physicians for Human Rights to give open-door testimony before the Commission next Wednesday regarding information they may have on the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, the Strip's economy and the delivery of goods into Gaza.
