A fire in a residential building in Shuafat left a two-year-old girl and her five-year-old brother dead on Tuesday night.
Two of their siblings, aged 10 and 17, were in moderate condition and their mother was lightly injured.
All the casualties suffered smoke inhalation and were evacuated by Magen David Adom to Jerusalem's Shaare Zedek Hospital, where the two youngest children were pronounced dead.
Police suspect the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
