UN rights chief: Both sides' Gaza war probes inadequate

GENEVA (AP) — The UN's High Commissioner for Human Rights criticized Israeli and Palestinian authorities on Wednesday for failing to properly investigate alleged war crimes last year in the Gaza Strip.
In a report, Navi Pillay said Israel's investigations were "inadequate."
She added that as yet, there was "no indication of credible investigations" by the Palestinians.
Ibrahim Khraishi, the Palestinian envoy at the UN in Geneva, said he expects credible probes to be carried out in the coming months. Israeli officials in Geneva wouldn't immediately comment.
