The US Holocaust Memorial Museum is exhibiting graphic photographs taken by a Syrian military official who defected to the West. The museum announced that it had obtained thousands of graphic images which provide a terrifying glimpse into the Assad regime's campaign of torture and oppression while it seeks to put down a three-year rebellion against his rule.
