The World Jewish Congress's Governing Board which met in Jerusalem on Monday submitted a resolution calling on US President Barack Obama to allow Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard to attend his father's funeral.
The Governing Board and WJC President Ronald S. Lauder urged "the
United States administration to act consistent with compassion and
common human dignity and decency."
Morris Pollard passed away Saturday morning at the age of 95 at Memorial Hospital and Health System in South Bend, Indiana.
