Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon on Saturday criticized former Mossad chief Meir Dagan for recent public statements about the government's handling of the Iranian threat.

"Dagan's statement's are irresponsible and definitely improper in a democratic state," Ya'alon said in an interview on Channel 2.

"I don't accept the claim that government discussions on Iran are superficial," Ya'alon added.
