Makhteshim forms Chinese company

Generic agrochemical producer Makhteshim Agan Industries Ltd. said Sunday it is forming a company in China to operate in the field of sourcing raw materials and active ingredients.

Generic agrochemical producer Makhteshim Agan Industries Ltd. said Sunday it is forming a company in China to operate in the field of sourcing raw materials and active ingredients. The new company will also serve as a distribution and marketing agent for Makhteshim Agan in the agrochemicals market.Makhteshim Agan CEO Shlomo Yanai said the Chinese agrochemical market is valued at $2 billion and shows potential for growth.
