How do you find free money these days? Why, search the Internet, of course!

You know what they say about summer - it's the most expensive time of the year! Our kids' "free" school is expensive enough, but there's no free summer camp. There's no free lunch either, and now the kids are home for that meal - and that tuna sandwich that kept them going the rest of the year can't compete with the mall, with its pizza and burgers - not to mention the movies, pool and vacations we have to shell out for. Peering down into the pit of summer debt I will soon be descending, I decided I needed some more money - free, if you please, because I work hard enough already. And how do you find free money these days? Why, search the Internet, of course! Purists of the Willie Sutton school (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie-Sutton) will of course tell you to check out the bank, but for us non-robber types, the Internet is our last and best hope. And find free money I did, with links to sites that had some useful ideas. Of course, some of them looked like scams - and then there was the problem of narrowing down my search to the sites that really provided ideas I could use. Now, we all know that nobody gives away money for nothing; you have to do something to get it. What I needed was a search method that would give me more accurate results on a subject that was difficult to find accurate information on - plus an intelligent enough search engine to take disparate terms (like "free money" + "without extra work") and bring back intelligent results. Plus, it would be nice to get a preview of the pages, to make sure I don't click on a scam page. Might I suggest, then, checking out the searchbots at http://www.searchbots.net/. This site lets you build a cute robot (male, female or any combination thereof), insert as many search terms as you want (the more, the merrier) and send it out to seek your answers, letting you preview results. You can also ask it a question, which it will continually seek the answer to until you call it off. Plus, it's cute; maybe you can get the kids to play with the free searchbots this site lets you build and miss the movies one day. See? Searchbots.net already saved you money. http://www.newzgeek.com
