Dozens of Palestinian youths hurled Motolov cocktails and stones at security forces Thursday morning in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the protesters were quickly dispersed, though one policeman was lightly injured in the clashes.

The youths attacked firefighters who arrived at the scene to put out fires that broke out as a result of the riots.
The rioters set alight four vehicles as well as trees and garbage cans.
The Palestinians reported that the riots began after Jewish settlers in the neighborhood tried to break into the local mosque at around 4 a.m.
Local Palestinian residents who were awake because of Ramadan reportedly saw the incident and called on the youths to come to the area.
Jerusalem Police has opened an investigation into the incident.
