2 bodies recovered from Gaza-Egypt tunnel

A Palestinian official said on Tuesday that two bodies were pulled from a collapsed smuggling tunnel between Gaza and Egypt. Gaza Health Ministry official Dr. Moaiya Hassanain said three people were still missing. Palestinians said Egyptian forces blew up the tunnel Tuesday morning, trapping the five. Palestinians use dozens of tunnels under the Gaza-Egypt border to smuggle in weapons, cash and contraband. In recent months, 42 people have been killed in tunnel collapse incidents.
