20 hurt in German rail mishap; officials: Train may have hit flock of sheep

Police say that 20 people suffered bruises and some fractures after a train traveling from Hamburg to Munich apparently collided with a flock of sheep near a rail tunnel. Deutsche Bahn said the train was near Fulda when it likely hit the sheep around 9 p.m. on Saturday. About 20 sheep were found dead near the 11-kilometer-long tunnel. Police say the train is inside the tunnel, though its 170 passengers have been evacuated and taken by bus to a nearby town.
