2000 French troops to arrive within three weeks

French Defense Minister Michel Eliot-Marie announced Saturday that 2,000 soldiers France would send to take part in the international peacekeeping force in Lebanon would arrive to the Middle East in the next three weeks. The French force would take part of 6,900 soldiers to be sent by the European Union.
