Three NATO soldiers were killed Tuesday when their vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb in eastern Afghanistan, the military alliance said.
Violence has risen steadily in Afghanistan since late 2005.
More than 4,700 people - mostly gunmen - have been killed in insurgency-related violence this year.
