3 injured in packed, weekend running of bulls at Pamplona festival in Spain

The government of Spain's northern Navarra region says a packed running of the bulls in Pamplona has left one person gored and two slightly injured. Six massive fighting bulls slipped on morning dew-dampened cobblestones and tossed people aside along tightly packed, narrow streets on the half-mile (kilometer) run through the streets of the city to the bull ring. The Navarra government said Saturday one person was in the Virgen del Camino hospital with a gored buttock, one runner had a broken nose and another had an injured ear. The run was quick, lasting less than three minutes, despite an unusually large weekend crowd when serious bull running aficionados were joined by revelers.
