5.4-magnitude quake rattles western Greek port

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.4 rattled the western Greek port of Patras Monday, seismologists said. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage. The Athens-based Institute of Geodynamics said the quake occurred at 10:25 p.m. (2025GMT) about 155 kilometers (95 miles) southwest of Athens, and just 20 kilometers (12.5 miles) outside Patras.
