US-led coalition and Afghan troops killed up to 75 suspected Taliban militants in three separate clashes in southern Afghanistan, officials said Tuesday.
Afghan troops advised by coalition forces were ambushed by insurgents in southern Helmand province on Monday before calling in airstrikes against three compounds used by militants, a coalition statement said.
