Activists gather to protest Greek government's ban on flotilla ships setting sail to Gaza from ports in Greece.

Activists on the Greek island of Corfu on Saturday flashed peace signs and cheered from the Stefano Chiarini ship and other boats participating in what protesters called the "Freedom Flotilla II." The demonstrators were angry at the Greek authorities' ban on Gaza-bound ships.

Greek authorities said on Friday that ships destined for Gaza -- which involves transit through international waters -- were prohibited from leaving Greek ports.
