The Australian Defense Forces have announced that they will purchase a fleet of I-View unmanned aerial vehicles for surveillance roles in a deal worth $145 million. The short-range I-View has a catapult launch and unique parafoil landing concept that makes it deployable from small fields. IAI will supply the UAV through a partnership with Boeing.
