The European Union "strongly" condemned a series of deadly attacks on the Algerian prime minister's office and a police station in Algiers, the EU presidency said Wednesday.
"The presidency most strongly condemns these attacks," a statement said, adding that it "conveys its heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims and wishes those who have been injured a speedy recovery."
