France: 4 alleged terror suspects arrested

French counterterrorism agents arrested four men of north African origin outside Paris early Monday on suspicion that they had ties to two terror groups dismantled in 2005, officials said. Agents from the French domestic counterintelligence agency DST detained the suspects in Trappes, west of Paris, as part of investigations by three anti-terrorism judges, officials said. Police said the four were allegedly linked to a terror cell known as Ansar al-Fath - or Partisans of Victory - that was dismantled by authorities in late 2005.
