Japan broadcasts incoming missile alert by mistake

A local government in central Japan mistakenly broadcast a test alert warning of an imminent missile attack to civil servants in 20 government buildings, an official said Thursday.
"This is information about a ballistic missile attack. This area is being targeted for attack," was the message government workers throughout Aichi prefecture [state] heard Wednesday over office speakers, said local government spokesman Masashi Aoyama.
