North Korea's No. 2 leader on Thursday ordered all soldiers and people to maintain a war mobilization posture to counter the threat of a US attack.
Kim Yong Nam warned that his country will "mercilessly repel the aggressors and achieve the reunification by mobilizing all potentials" in case the enemy launches a war against the North.
The anti-US rhetoric came as North Korea was to celebrate the 65th birthday of leader Kim Jong Il on Friday.
