Pakistan: Suspected US missile strike reportedly kills at least 15

February 16, 2009 08:26

At least 15 people were killed early Monday when three missiles destroyed a house in the Kurram tribal region of northwest Pakistan, Dawn News TV station said. It appeared likely that the attack was the latest in a barrage against suspected insurgents in the border region by unmanned American aircraft since August last year, but it was not immediately possible to confirm that. Pakistani officials were not immediately available to comment.
