Suicide bomber kills 10 civilians in southern Afghanistan

A suicide bomber killed 10 civilians in southern Afghanistan on Friday morning, police said.
Mohammad Hussein Andiwal, the police chief of Helmand province, said the attacker detonated his explosives as a convoy of foreign troops was passing through the town of Gereshk.
A spokesman for NATO forces in Afghanistan had no information about the incident.
