Turkey: Teenager confesses to killing journalist

A teenager detained over the slaying of an ethnic Armenian newspaper editor has confessed to killing the journalist, the state-run Anatolia news agency quoted a prosecutor as saying on Sunday. Police captured the suspect - identified as Ogun Samast - in the Black Sea city of Samsun on Saturday, a day after Hrant Dink was gunned down outside his newspaper's office in Istanbul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. Chief prosecutor Ahmet Cokcinar told Anatolia the youth had confessed to killing Dink during initial questioning.
