US diplomat: N. Korea warned not to test nukes

Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill said Wednesday the United States has directly warned North Korea not to conduct a nuclear test. "We are not going to live with a nuclear North Korea," he said. Hill, the chief envoy to stalled North Korea disarmament talks, said the United States has passed a message of "deep concern" through diplomatic channels at the United Nations in New York. He said North Korea has yet to respond.
