Venezuela strongly condemned Israel on Saturday night for using "indiscriminate" force in its offensive in Lebanon, expressing concern the military campaign could cause violence in the Middle East to spiral out of control. Venezuela "rejects and condemns the disproportionate attacks the state of Israel has launched in recent days," Foreign Minister Ali Rodriguez said in a statement. "No pretext can justify these aggressions." "The use of indiscriminate force has caused numerous deaths and injuries in the civilian population, including innocent woman and children," added the foreign minister.
