Iranian state TV says the country will propose a package of solutions on its nuclear controversy to an upcoming meeting of permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany.
The station says on its Website that Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Iran has been preparing a "package" that will have more "convergence" with the West on the topic.
Mottaki's Sunday remarks contained no details on the planned proposals. UN Security Council permanent members and Germany were to discuss Iran's disputed nuclear program in China on Wednesday.
United Nations have passed three sets of sanctions on Iran for refusing to suspend uranium enrichment - a program the West contends masks nuclear arms building but which Teheran says is for peaceful purposes only.
