Ra’anana’s Rabbi Beller dies

The British-born Beller is survived by his wife, Arny, six children, and his father.

Rabbi Daniel Beller, the much-loved rabbi of the Shivtei Yisrael Synagogue in Ra’anana, died on Thursday at the age of 53 after an illness.
The British-born Beller is survived by his wife, Arny, six children, and his father. Beller held an honors degree in history from Manchester University, and received his rabbinic ordination in Israel. He served as rabbi of Shivtei Yisrael since 1997.
He previously served for five years as a communal rabbi in South Africa. The funeral is scheduled to take place at the Shikun Vatikim Cemetery in Ra’anana at 10.30 a.m. on Friday.
