Border Police and IDF troops caught 12 foreign citizens trying to infiltrate Israel through the Egyptian border on Wednesday evening.
The detainees - four men and eight women, mostly of Chinese origin - were transferred to security forces for questioning, and will afterwards be handed over to the immigration police.
