18-month-old dies after falling in water during Eid-Al-Fitr celebrations

An 18-month-old child died on Friday night, after falling into the water at the port in Acre Friday night, during celebrations for the Muslim festival Eid-Al-Fitr.
The baby was taken to hospital in Nahariya in a serious condition, where its death was pronounced.
Acre police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, on suspicion of negligence on the part of the baby's parents.
