Five Arab teens were caught stoning Israeli vehicles on the Jerusalem-Ma'aleh Adumim Road Saturday night, police said.
There were no injuries or damage immediately reported.
The attack took place near the edge of the east
Jerusalem village of Issawiya whose cliffs overlook a section of the road.
The village of Issawiya was the focus of intense protests last month, after a resident of the village was shot and killed by police in the nearby neighborhood of French Hill.
