Hen Arad, brother of captured IAF navigator Lt.-Col. Ron Arad, called on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Monday to renew his efforts to secure the freedom of the captured navigator. Hen said that although there was a tendency to "push the case of Ron's capture under the carpet," the current fighting with Hizbullah presented a golden opportunity to secure his release. He called on Olmert to implement the two-year-old cabinet decision to release Samil Kontar, who killed the Haran family, in exchange for information on Ron Arad's condition.
